Achievements

  1. Presented the work done on of indigenous impedance cardiography at International conference on “Computer applications in electrical engineering-recent advances” at Department of Electrical engineering, Indian Institute of technology (IIT), Roorke during September 28 - October 1, 2005
  2. Given presentation on “User feedback for Impedance based Cardiac Output Monitor” in “DAE – BRNS National workshop on Electrical Impedance Technique for Medical Applications – 2004” during 30th to 1st September, 2004 conducted by Electronic Division, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai.
  3. Tele-conferencing: Presented the work done on indigenous impedance cardiography through tele-conferencing at The Sultan Qaboos University College, Muscat at national symposium “Impedance Plethysmography in the Measurement of Autonomic Function and Hemodynamic IPAH – 2006, held from 17th to 18th March 2006 in All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, India
  4. Presented paper entitled “New method of electrode placement for cardiac output measurement by Impedance Cardiography” in “Golden jubilee conferences of Association of Physiologists and Pharmacologists of India” during 19th – 22nd December 2004 at Department Of Neurophysiology, National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS), Bangalore.
  5. Presented the data collected using the Indigenously Developed cardiac Output Monitor for measurement of cardiac output and also gave user feedback for the same in “National Workshop on Non- Invasive Measurement of Peripheral Blood Flow and Cardiac output” during 18th – 19th February, 2005 at Department Physiology, King George’s Medical University(KGMU), Lucknow.(Nominee for Best paper competition)
  6. Presented the abstract entitled “Non-invasive measurement of physiological variation of cardiac output after postural challenge using Impedance Cardiography” at 51st annual conference of Association of Physiologists and Pharmacologists of India (APPICON-2005)” during 12th – 15th December 2005 at Department Of Physiology, Jawaharlal Institute of postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Pondicherry
  7. Given oral presentation and Demonstration on “Autonomic reactivity tests in humans” in Pre-conference Workshop on Autonomic function testing on 19th December 2006 at 52nd Annual conference of Association of Physiologists and Pharmacologists of India (APPICON-2006)” during 19th – 23rd December 2006 at Department Of Physiology, SMIMER, Surat.
