REALLOCATION OF STUDENTS OF SARDAR RAJAS MEDICAL COLLEGE

As per the direction of the Hon’ble Apex Court passed in SLP (C) 35075-35076 of 2015 on 12.01.2016, 40 MBBS students of Sardar Rajas Medical College were reallocated to this Institution after due counseling made by Director, Medical Education & Training, Odisha. Out of 40 students, 31 students were admitted in 4th Semester, 8 students in 3rd Semester and 1 student in 2nd semester respectively.

After admission of the candidates in Hi-Tech Medical College & Hospital, an interaction meeting with the students of SRMC and their parents/guardians was arranged by the Principal, HMCH on 20.01.2016 at 11.00AM at LT – 2, before they attended the theory and practical classes of this Institution. In this interaction meeting all Heads of Departments and Principal of HMCH were present. The Hon’ble Chairman of HMCH presided over this meeting with a view to give proper guidance through counseling so that proper education can be imparted. In this regard the HODs have given their valuable deliberations and advice for proper educational career of the SRMC students. The Principal has also extended his valued deliberation to the SRMC students to be very much punctual, sincere, dutiful and disciplined citing with a number of examples which all the SRMC students gladly accepted. Lastly the Hon’ble Chairman gave his deliberation to the parents/guardians and students who were present in the meeting and counseled for making the students good doctors in the society maintaining medical ethics, dutifulness and sincerity thereto. He also emphasized and drew the attention of the parents/guardians that they should be very much vigilant on their wards so far as their medical education is concerned. They also were given a free hand to speak about their wards with the HODs and Principal about the education if any difficulty arises.
