Recognition and Affiliation

After due inspections by both the Government of Odisha and the Medical Council of India, the Hi-Tech Medical College and Hospital was granted permission by the then Medical Council of India in 2005. The MCI recognition continued till batch 2022-23 under Utkal University affiliation, and from batch 2023-2024 onwards, the National Medical Commission (NMC) recognition continues under Odisha University of Health Sciences.

M.B.B.S Course

The M.B.B.S. degree of Hi-Tech Medical College, under Utkal University, was recognized by the then Medical Council of India, New Delhi, in 2016. The total intake of undergraduate students for the college is 150. From the 2022-23 batch, and continuing from the 2023-24 batch onwards, the National Medical Commission (NMC) recognition is granted under Odisha University of Health Sciences.

P.G Course

The postgraduate degree of Hi-Tech Medical College, under Utkal University, was permitted by the then Medical Council of India, New Delhi, in 2011. The recognition continued under Utkal University until the 2022-23 batch, and from the 2023-24 batch onwards, the National Medical Commission (NMC) recognition is granted under Odisha University of Health Sciences.
