The bed strength will be ultimately raised to 750 beds in a phased manner. ANM Nursing, Bhubaneswar
Eligibility :
Candidates must be 17 years of age or above as on 31.12.2025.
Passed 10+2 from CHSE Odisha or equivalent.
1> ANM & Health Worker (Female) are interchangeably used terms
2> Candidates shall have to produce (original and photocopy) certificate of Permanent Residentship of Odisha at the time of document verification. For this purpose only District Magistrate/Additional District Magistrate/Sub-divisional officer/Tahasildar/Additional Tahasildar are the competent Authority
OR
Candidates qualify in 10+2 Exams conducted by National Institute of Open School, (equivalent to CHSE Odisha) are also eligible.
Passed Odia up to M.E. Standard.
Shall be domicile /permanent resident /native of Odisha but currently residing outside Odisha.
Only female candidates are eligible to apply.
Physically Handicapped having locomotor disability of lower limbs from 40% to 50% will be taken into consideration.
Physically Handicapped having locomotors disability of lower limbs between 40% to 50% will be taken in to consideration.
Candidates are advised to obtain their physical handicap certificate from competent medical authority of their district on last week of july and
first week of august 2025.
Shall be medically fit for the course (Medical certificate format in annexure- VIII).
GNM Nursing (60 seats)
Eligibility :
There is no age bar for registered ANM/LHV candidate.
The candidates must have passed
10+2 with 40% marks from CHSE Odisha or equivalent thereof however science is preferable.
Or
10 +2/12th with 40% marks from state open schools recognized by state Govt. and National Institute of Open School recognized by Central Govt.
Or
10+2 vocational ANM course with 40% marks from the school recognized by Indian Nursing School.
Or
10 +2 Health Science vocational stream from a recognized CBSE Board/ State/ Center.
5% of total mark is relaxed for SC/ ST candidates.
Must have passed Odia up to M.E. standard for the candidate seeking admission in
Govt. School of Nursing & against 85% Govt. quota of Private School of recognized by INC.
Must be a domicile / permanent resident / native of Odisha but currently residing outside Odisha.
Both female / male candidates (10% reservation for male candidates out of total seats) are eligible to apply.

Affiliated to Utkal University, Vanivihar.
Eligibility :
Be of minimum 17 years of age as on 31.12.2025.
Have passed 10+2 examination in Science ( physics, chemistry & Biology) conducted by National Institute of Open School with 45% marks are also eligible to apply.
Have aggregate marks of minimum 45% in the above qualifying examination.
For S.C/S.T candidates the above qualifying marks is 40 % .
Have passed odia upto ME standard. ( For Candidate seeking admission in Govt. College.
Be either domicile/ permanent resident /native of Odisha but currently residing outside Odisha ( candidate seeking admission in Govt College of Nursing, Berhampur and 85% of seats ( Govt quota) in Private INC recognized institutions)
( Candidates from other states are also eligible to apply to take admission under 15% management quota in private nursing institutions ( Recognised by the INC).)
Be medically fit to undergo the course.
Locomotor disability of lower limbs between 40% to 50% will be taken into consideration for Physical handicapped category.

Eligibility :
The candidate must be Domicile/permanent resident/ native of Odisha (for All seats in Govt
College of Nursing, Berhampur & 85% Govt. seats in Private institutions)
The candidate must be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife of ONMC or equivalent to
any state nursing council.
In case a candidate has registered his/her name in other State Nursing Council, he/she has to
submit reciprocal registration certificate from ONMC within one month from the date of
admission.
The minimum educational requirements shall be B.Sc. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with
minimum 55% aggregate marks from the institution recognized by the INC.
Minimum one year of work experience after Basic B.Sc. Nursing or one year experience prior
or after post Basic Bsc. nursing.
N.B
(1) Work experience is to be considered w.e.f. the date of registration as RN/RM.
(2) Work experience means experience as staff nurse from any Govt. Hospital,
Govt. Undertaking Hospital/public sector undertaking Hospital & Referral
Hospital/E.S.I Hospital approved by the state Govt/Govt. of India for treatment
of their employees.
Candidate shall be medically fit for the course.
Must have Passed Odia up to M.E standard in case ( Only for Govt institutions and 85% Govt
seats in private institutions.)

The Nurses completing the course shall trained to
